Finland ranked as the happiest country in the world in the annual World Happiness Report

Today, the annual World Happiness Report was published, in which Finland was ranked the happiest country in the world for the ninth consecutive year. In the report, the measurement of subjective well-being is based on respondents’ evaluations of their lives, as well as on positive and negative emotions.

The happiness of our population also provides a solid foundation for Finland’s comprehensive security model. Individuals who are satisfied with their lives are inclined to preserve the fundamental factors underpinning their happiness and are also prepared, together with others, to do their part to strengthen our society’s crisis resilience. Comprehensive security concerns us all.
