The Secretariat of the Security Committee in Hanaholmen – Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre’s seminar on 9.2.
The Secretariat of the Security Committee participated in a seminar organized by the Hanaholmen – Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre in Brussels on the topic “What role should the EU play in the future when building resilience by crisis preparedness and response?”
The seminar was organized in cooperation with the permanent representation of Finland and Sweden in the EU, and the EU ambassadors of both countries honored the occasion with their presence.
Secretary-General Petteri Korvala presented the Finnish Concept for Comprehensive Security and supported Finland’s initiative of Preparedness Union – Harnessing the whole-of-society approach at the EU-level.
The seminar was attended by approximately 60 people from almost all EU member states, as well as staff members from EU and NATO.
